Knives that have internal open spaces breed bacteria and open blades cause contmination if they draw blood. The majority of knives have carbon steel blades which rust and are removeable. These may drop into the product or packaging.
Our range offers a choice of food contact approved, poly-propylene, Metal Detectable plastic Safety Knives with stainless steel blades ( F200M, P400M, F600M, B700M, B800M, P900M, P1000M and the Bag Cutter).

Moulded In Metal Detectable Plastic and Stainless Steel Blade
The NEW "Bag Cutter" Safety Knife is specifically designed to cut multi-layer paper or plastic bags and sacks.
The papented opposed slopes at the back of the blade reduces friction resistance which enables a smooth and more effective cut.

METAL-DETECTABLE RANGE
The Metal-Detectable Range has been specifically designed for the food and pharmaceutical industries. They are high impact, food contact approved. The material has the ability to be detected & rejected by typical detection machines. Broken particles will be detected & rejected, and are X-ray visible.
