The "Lock & Limit" Depth Control System

4 Depth Settings
from 'tape' to '3-ply' in 1 second

Set Depth Control:
0:  completely locked
1:  2mm blade exposed
2:  6mm blade exposed
3:  full 10mm exposed.

The multi-position Depth Switches limit the travel of the Vari-Guards back into the knife, controlling the amount of exposed blade. They can be changed instantly for cutting shrink-wrap to tape to cardboard, while safely protecting both the merchandise and operator by minimising the blade depth.

0: Lock Position
All Swithces forward. Guards locked even when release lever is pushed forward
For SAFE storage.

1: Limit 1 Position
Only the very point of blade exposed.
2 mm Depth of Cut

2.: Limit 2 Position
Guards will push partly back into knife body.
6 mm Depth of Cut

3: Open Position
Guards push fully back into knife body.
Maximum:
10 mm Depth of Cut

Unique retracting Vari-Guard�s lock independently allowing top guard to be used as a guide; giving a straight and tidy cut when cutting boxes for display purposes.
