Knives that have internal open spaces breed bacteria and open blades cause contmination if they draw blood. The majority of knives have carbon steel blades which rust and are removeable. These may drop into the product or packaging.

The Metal-Detectable Range has been specifically designed for the food and pharmaceutical industries. They are high impact, food contact approved. The material has the ability to be detected & rejected by typical detection machines. Broken particles will be detected & rejected, and are X-ray visible.

Our range offers a choice of food contact approved, poly-propylene, Metal Detectable plastic Safety Knives with stainless steel blades ( F200M, P400M, F600M, B700M, B800M, P900M, P1000M and the F2000M.)
